So here I am trying to think back when I was eight or younger and seriously can't think of a significant story to tell (without goin emo). So I remember it was my fourth birthday party and it was at the restaurant at bangor Paul's used to be where Smokey Bones is. So there I was at my Lion King themed party getting a green Simba dress, the Simba lion cub plushie that rawrs, and a bunch of other stuff. When the party was done we went outside and I was happy as can be with my Simba plushie in my right arm with my Simba balloon in my left hand. I don't really remember how it happened but I lost my grip on the balloon and i started to cry. Personally I have no idea why this memory was so visual in my mind because honestly it felt all like a dream till I was five and till then I didn't have a conscious. Its weird seriously.

Yeah ._. Losing a balloon usually made me upset when I was a kid. Then I'd watch it fly away and wonder how far it went up. Stupid kid stuff like that. And I actually have the same talking Simba stuffed animal <_< Yes, I still have it -_- If I remember right, I had a Lion King cake once when I was a kid. No dress or party. Just a cake with a figurine on it.
ReplyDeleteLosing a balloon can be very disturbing to any child. I like how you didn't blog about art, it makes me happy. Not that I don't like art, but it's nice to walk away from it and just breath.
ReplyDeletei dont know its always with the balloons! everytime u hear a kid cry at a carnival its like always a balloon or a clown o^o
ReplyDeleteHaven't we all lost a balloon and wanted to cry to the heavens? Actually, you could do a really cool piece of a little girl losing her balloon and crying! I call dibs!
